12 Night Swiss Alps Adventure 22nd June - 4th July 2026

Throttle Open: UK to Switzerland and Back – The Ultimate Motorcycle Road Trip

Warning: This isn’t your average Sunday ride. It’s a two-wheeled, full-throttle European rollercoaster through 5 countries, 14 unforgettable destinations, and a lifetime’s worth of mountain passes, medieval towns, and jaw-dropping scenery.

🏍️ Here’s the plan:

We kick things off in Folkestone, and just like that — bam! — you’re across the Channel, throttle wide open into Belgium, where our first stops are the fairy-tale cobbled streets of Bruges (beer, chocolate, and bikes — yes, please) and the buzz of Brussels, home of waffles, grand squares, and questionable statues.

Next up, we blast through the twisties to Luxembourg, a pint-sized country with big-time views and brilliant biking roads. Then it’s throttle therapy through the Vosges Mountains — pure riding heaven, with curves that’ll make you grin inside your helmet.

Just when your smile couldn’t get any wider, we drop into Basel, brushing the edge of Switzerland before heading deep into the Alps. Cue dramatic soundtrack.

🏔️ Alps Incoming: Hold on to Your Helmet

The alpine stage starts in the stunning valley of Lauterbrunnen — think waterfalls, wooden chalets, and yodel-worthy views. But the real stars of the show? The legendary trio:

  • Furka Pass – James Bond was here. Enough said.

  • Grimsel Pass – Epic switchbacks, glacial lakes, and views that punch you in the soul.

  • Susten Pass – Like racing through a postcard, only better, because you’re actually there.

From the mountains, we cruise south to the dreamy shores of Lake Como — where you might rub shoulders with George Clooney (or just enjoy a killer espresso with a view).

Then it’s back into the heart of Switzerland with a stay in Interlaken, sandwiched between lakes and dwarfed by monster peaks. You’ll feel small in the best way possible.

🧀 Back Through France (and Yes, There’s Cheese)

The return ride isn’t a wind-down — it’s a victory lap. We roll into Dijon, where mustard isn’t just a condiment, it’s a lifestyle, then on to charming Troyes, a medieval town that looks like it fell out of a movie set.

Finally, we wrap things up in Calais, swap tall tales, take one last group photo with bug-splattered visors and wide smiles, and head back to the UK with your throttle hand twitching for the next ride.

🗺️ Tour Highlights:

Folkestone ➝ Bruges ➝ Brussels ➝ Luxembourg ➝ Vosges Mountains ➝ Basel ➝ Lauterbrunnen ➝ Furka Pass ➝ Grimsel Pass ➝ Susten Pass ➝ Lake Como ➝ Interlaken ➝ Dijon ➝ Troyes ➝ Calais
